Where Clay Meets Community
Animal House Pottery was born from a love of clay and a belief that creating with your hands is one of the most fulfilling experiences in life. Our studio in North Las Vegas has grown into a vibrant community of makers, learners, and artists.
Whether you're looking for a meditative escape on the pottery wheel, a fun night out with friends, a unique date night activity, or a deep dive into sculptural techniques, our experienced instructors are here to guide you every step of the way.
We offer wheel throwing classes, hand building sessions, private lessons, raku firing workshops, soda firing events, sculpture classes, and special themed evenings, all with materials included. No experience needed, ever.

Anthony Urango
Ceramics Artist & Studio Founder
Anthony started pottery by chance. He needed an elective in school and chose ceramics. From that first class, he was obsessed. He became his teacher's aide for four years after high school, mixing clay, loading kilns, and learning every part of the craft.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts at UNLV, he moved to Maui from 2013-2016, where he worked as a production potter specializing in Raku. He came back to Las Vegas with one idea: open a studio. Animal House Pottery was coined by his mentor Frank Polito: "attack the clay like an animal."
It's always been about fire, smoke, and mystery. Anthony's goal is simple: help you ask yourself what you want to make, and help you make it. Mind over clay.
