Join us every Tuesday evening for six weeks, an exciting introduction to throwing on the potter's wheel! Whether you’re new to pottery or looking to refine your technique, this 6-week course will guide you step by step as you create beautiful, functional pottery from the ground up. This is a progressive class- each week builds upon the previous class.
What You’ll Learn:
Week 1: Pottery Wheel Basics – Get hands-on with the wheel and learn to center and shape your first pots.
Week 2 : Wheel throwing – Build on your skills and create more intricate forms
Week 3 & 4: Trimming and Wheel Throwing – Learn the art of refining your pieces and adding final touches.
Week 5: Trimming – Refining the last pieces you have thrown
Week 6 : Glazing- Adding color to your pieces
