Saturday Afternoon Pottery – Intro to Wheel Throwing with Cathy

If you have ever wanted to try your hand at the potter's wheel, this one-time introductory class is a great way to get started. We will teach you the basics of throwing on the wheel, a fun skill to learn solo or with a friend!

You will learn:

• Clay preparation/wedging (ram's head & spiral techniques)
• Centering
• Pulling walls/shaping
  

CLASS SCHEDULE
Saturday mornings from 1:30pm to 3:30pm
Recurring class - choose a date at Checkout

Bisque and glaze firing of your pieces are included. Final firing may take 3-4 weeks to complete.

THINGS TO NOTE

• To ensure the smooth operation of the studio and secure a calm creative practice, the classes are not refundable and it is not possible to reschedule sessions to other times.
• Make sure you come to class ready to get messy! You may bring your own aprons or towels if you wish - we also have aprons on hand you can borrow. Wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty.
