Animal House Pottery is a community-focused ceramics studio offering classes, workshops, and open studio access for ceramic artists of all levels.

3. What are your hours of operation?
The studio is open 24/7 for members and offers flexible appointments for non-members.

Classes & Workshops

4. What types of classes do you offer?
We offer a variety of pottery classes, including beginner and advanced wheel-throwing, hand-building, and specialty workshops.

5. Do I need experience to take a class?
No experience is necessary! We offer beginner-friendly classes as well as courses for more advanced potters.

6. What’s included in a class?
All classes include instruction, clay (as specified in listing), use of studio tools, firings, and glazes. Some workshops may have additional fees for materials.

7. What should I bring to class?
Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting messy and bring an apron or towel if desired. We provide all necessary tools and materials.

8. Can I make up a missed class?
We try our best to accommodate missed classes, but make-ups are subject to availability. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule.

Membership & Open Studio

9. How does open studio access work?
Open studio time is available for students and members who have completed a beginner class. It includes access to wheels, hand-building tools, and studio space.

10. Do you offer studio memberships?
Yes! We offer different membership levels with access to studio space, equipment, and firings. See the 30-Day Studio Membership listing for more details.

Firing & Glazing

11. Can I bring my own clay or work made outside the studio for firing?
Yes! We accept outside work for firing. Our kilns typically fire to Cone 5-6. Please ensure your clay and glazes are compatible with our firing temperatures.

12. How long does it take to get my finished pottery?
The full process, including drying, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing, typically takes 3–4 weeks.

Private Events & Group Bookings

13. Do you offer private events or team-building workshops?
Yes! We host private pottery workshops for birthdays, corporate events, and special occasions. Contact us for details.

Purchasing Pottery

14. Do you sell pottery made at the studio?
Yes! We have a selection of handmade ceramics by our instructors and resident artists available for purchase in the studio.

15. Do you accept custom production commissions?
Yes! We accept production commissions on a case-by-case basis. If you're interested in having work produced at our studio, please contact Anthony to discuss your project, timeline, and pricing.

Policies & Safety

16. What is your refund policy?
We offer refunds or rescheduling for cancellations made at least 48 hours before the class start date. No refunds for missed sessions.

17. Is the studio pet-friendly?
For safety reasons, we do not allow pets in the studio. Service animals are welcome.
